Recruitment of Management Trainees at NFL-2024

National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) is a Navratna, premier profit-making Central Public Sector Undertaking engaged in manufacturing and marketing of fertilizers and other agricultural inputs. NFL aims to be a leading Indian company in fertilizers and beyond, with a commitment to all stakeholders.

NFL operates five gas-based Ammonia-Urea plants located in Nangal & Bathinda Units in Punjab, Panipat Unit in Haryana, and two plants at Vijaipur Unit in District Guna, Madhya Pradesh.

Online applications are invited from energetic young qualified Indian Nationals for engagement as Management Trainees for various units and offices of NFL, as per the details mentioned below:

Application Procedure

1. Read the advertisement and ensure eligibility.
2. Apply online from 12/06/2024 to 02/07/2024 on NFL’s website.
3. Only one application per candidate. Edit details before final submission. False declarations will render the candidate ineligible.
4. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
5. Possess a valid email ID for at least 1.5 years.
6. Application Process:
   1. Register: Create an account on NFL’s recruitment portal.
   2. Fill in details: Provide required personal, educational, and experience details.
   3. Upload documents: Ensure documents (photo, certificates, etc.) meet specifications.
   4. Preview and submit: Carefully check details before final submission.
   5. Pay application fee: Use Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Fees are non-refundable.
7. Download and retain: Online application form, fee receipt, and admit card.
8. Ensure timely payment and submission to avoid last-minute issues.
9. All correspondence via registered email ID.
10. NFL is not responsible for email issues due to invalid/wrong email ID.
11. No need to send documents to NFL through email/post at this stage.

Selection Procedure

1. Offline OMR Based Examination
   1. Candidature is provisional based on information provided in the application. Eligibility and verification of certificates will be done at the time of document verification.
   2. Candidates must possess a valid Admit Card to appear for the test. Admit Cards will be available on NFL’s website and candidates will be notified via SMS and email.
   3. Examination centers include major cities across India. Candidates must select two preferred cities but may not be guaranteed their choice.
   4. The test will be held on the same day for all posts unless unforeseen circumstances arise. NFL will not be responsible for any delays or rescheduling.
   5. The test will have two parts: Discipline related and Aptitude related. It will be conducted in Hindi and English, with 150 questions in total and a duration of 2 hours. No negative marking.
   6. The test date will be communicated via Admit Card. No changes in the examination date will be entertained.
   7. Issuance of Admit Card does not imply acceptance of candidature. Candidature can be rejected at any stage if found non-compliant with eligibility criteria.
2. Personal Interview
   1. Candidates will be called for an interview based on their performance in the Offline OMR Based test, typically in the ratio of 1:5 (5 candidates for 1 post). Notification will be sent via email and SMS.
   2. Candidates must meet eligibility criteria and possess requisite documents to attend the interview. No TA will be paid if they fail to meet criteria.
   3. Reimbursement for 2nd AC Class Rail/Bus fare will be provided for travel to the interview location from the correspondence address mentioned in the application form.
3. Final Selection
   1. Merit list will be prepared for each category (UR/SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS) based on performance in the Offline OMR Based test and personal interview. Weightage: 80% for the test, 20% for the interview.
   2. Candidates must qualify separately in both the Offline OMR Based test and the Personal Interview with a minimum average of 50% marks.
   3. In case of a tie in total marks, the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination will be considered. If still tied, the candidate born earlier will be given preference.
